Stockmarket Gains - a beginner!

Well how about that!

Taking further steps to financial freedom....

I have just had my follow up support call from Anthony at Investment Mastery - following the fantastic 2-day intensive beginners' course I did at the end of January. 

The things that Marcus de Maria does that aren't found on other courses are:
- Each person has a computer in front of them on the course
- Each person has already opened a virtual trading account - so can start placing trades there & then!
- We go through three methods of using the stock market in depth (enough to make your head spin, I'm afraid, but if he didn't do it all in one go I think lots of people would lose the motivation)
- There is a forum on the website, as well as recorded question and answer teleseminars weekly
- Delegates get 1 month membership of the website free!
- There is a comprehensive book given out on the course
- Marcus' approach includes looking at your fears and preconceptions about making money, which act as blocks to taking action
- There is a follow up support call from Anthony, one of Marcus' proteges (and an excellent teacher)

However, it is wise to remain a member for at least 6 months to access the support that keeps you motivated and helps you to take action.

So while on the telephone I thought I'd take a look at my virtual account. Wow! I set the trades I had placed (for example, in CEDC) to sell on the next working day (Friday 15th) before I went to Devon on my holiday.  Now, I see that my virtual account is set at  $10,142.73 - meaning I had made  $142.73 in 2 weeks while my back was turned!

Now I know this is a pittance,  compared to the amount I can make as a GP, but I am at the beginning of a learning curve here, and I felt on the course that most doctors will love the logic involved in trading as an out of hours diversion....
